Tassie Tourism On the Rise

Tasmania just broke records for March hotel stays, with a whopping 89.11% of rooms booked across the state.

Hobart led the charge, topping all Aussie capitals! From rowing regattas to artsy festivals, events packed out both north and south, with even the northwest seeing big gains.

Room rates hit $240 a night, and yep, people are still paying! With winter festivals like Dark Mofo on the horizon, Tassie’s tourism train isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
