400K In Grants For Community Projects

Hobart City Council just dished out nearly $400K in grants to 51 awesome community projects!

We’re talking musicals with chickens, hyperpop festivals, ceramic penguin burrows, fashion runways, and eco-friendly youth ideas like EV chargers.

From nappies to Christmas lunches, it’s grassroots goodness all round. Missed out? Another grant round’s coming in August—fingers crossed you get the nod next time!

Restaurant Of The Week

Urban Greek, nestled in Hobart's CBD, offers a delightful Cretan dining experience that has earned it a 4.7-star rating on Tripadvisor and a spot among the city's top restaurants.

The menu features authentic Greek dishes like saganaki with fig jam, moussaka, and charcoal-grilled lamb cutlets, all crafted from traditional family recipes.

The warm ambiance and attentive service make it perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings
